Pet & Ranch Sitting FAQ

  1. What services do you offer? I offer 30 minute and 60 drop in visits, 15 minute potty visits.

  2. Do you watch pets in your home? No, I do not offer boarding services in my home, I only offer pet sitting in the client's home.

  3. Do you stay most of the day at my house including overnight? No, I do not offer overnight or live-in services at this time.

  4. Do you administer medications to pets? I will administer oral or topical medications only (ex: eye drops, ear drops, ointments) as long as the pet is cooperative and medications can be given safely. I do not administer injections such as insulin or subcutaneous fluids.

  5. My pet is being treated for a contagious illness, will you be able to offer services still? No, for the safety of other client's pets and my own pets I will not be able to pet sit pets that are being treated for a contagious illness such as parasites, Giardia, Parvo, respiratory infections, etc.

  6. Do you require a minimum amount of visits? Yes, for the pet's safety and wellbeing I do require a minimum amount of visits. A minimum of 2 visits a day is required for dogs with access outside via dog door and a 3rd visit in the evening before bed is required for dogs that are crated or don't have a dog door. On the 1st day of services if the client leaves in the morning and feeds breakfast I will allow a minimum of 1 visit for dogs with access to a dog door and for dogs without access to a dog door I require 2 visits. I will allow 1 visit for dogs if the client will be returning home midday/afternoon. Cat and small animal visits must be at least once daily, every other day visits are not offered.

  7. What type of pets do you care for? I offer care for a variety of pets such as dogs, cats, small animals such as guinea pigs, lizards and fish, and small farm animals such as chickens, goats and sheep.

  8. Do you accept last minute requests? I try my best to accommodate requests but availability is not guaranteed since I am a solo pet sitter and I am limited to how many clients I can take in a day. I do recommend booking services as early in advance as possible especially around the holidays as my schedule fills quickly.

  9. Do you allow shared visits? Due to liability concerns I do not allow other individuals such as family members, friends, or neighbors, or other pet sitters etc to care for your pets during the duration your pets are in my care.

  10. What payment methods do you accept? The methods of payment are cash, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal.

  11. Do you charge for cancellations? I do not charge for cancellations.
